Hotel Bookings / Hotellivaraukset

If you haven't booked your hotel room yet, or haven't agreed that we will do it, then these are the very simple instructions. Just send an email to tampere.holidayinn@restel.fi, and mention the code 'Vatanen Hääinfo' when you ask for your rooms. The rooms are €68 per night for two people including breakfast.

Hotellihuoneen varaaminen onnistuu seuraavin ohjein (jos olet jo sopinut majoituksesta kanssamme, niin unohda tämä..): voit varata huoneen suoraan hotellista tunnuksella Vatanen Hääinfo . Sauna Stuff

As mentioned somewhere, there will be sauna's available throughout the evening at the party, so the it'll be good for everyone to bring swimming costumes. You can even swim in the lake if you're brave enough! Our Finnish guests probably need little introduction, but for everyone else, you really should try them - its a wonderful relaxing experience, and a million times nicer than the tacky plastic versions we have in the UK.

We did a little reconnaissance last weekend, and everything looks very much in place! The picture of Aino is taken by the lake next to the cottage.

The Location/Juhlapaikka

The Location for the Wedding, the Toninveraja Summer Cottage, can be found here. We'll get some information up in English as well, asap. But in short, its about 30mins from Tampere, where most people will fly in anyway, so travel is not a problem.

Accommodation / Majoitus

Häiden aikaiseen majoitukseen on kaksi vaihtoehtoa, ensinnä Toninveräjällä
on jonkin verran majoituspaikkoja, joihin voi yöksi jäädä (30e/hlö) ja tämän
lisäksi Tampereen keskustan Holiday Inn:ssa

varattuna huoneita hintaan 68e/huone/vrk (1-2hlöä/huone).

Majoitusta tarvitsevien pyydämme ilmoittamaan siitä mahdollisimman pian,
niin kaikille löytyy yösija!

There are two options for the accommodation during the wedding, firstly
there are some places available in the Toninveräjä where some of the guests
can stay (30e/person) and in addition to this there are rooms reserved for our
guests in the Holiday Inn
(http://www.restel.fi/holidayinn/view.cfm?page=hotel.4) in Tampere centre
for 68e/room/night (1-2persons in a room). It is possible to stay in Holiday
Inn for more than just the Saturday-Sunday night a well, but we would need
to know of this soon as well.

Anyone needing accommodation is kindly asked to inform us of it asap so we
can organise a place for everyone to stay in!
